e-filing of returns having quarterly turn over of Rs one crore and above has
been made compulsory w.e.f. 4rth quarter of 2013-14. Dealers have been given training
in this regard but still apprehensions are being expressed by dealers with regard to
efficiency of training given. It may havent been sufficient and further trainings may
require.
In order to have hassle free e-filing , the dealers / Tax payers are required to be
provided 24 x 7 technical help and guidance. In order to provide all possible technical
help, including e-filing of returns it is ordered that:

i. CTO will immediately establish control rooms at District Headquarters.
CTO and Technical Resource of TCS shall be available to the dealer for
help from 22

April to 30
th
April 2014.

ii. Divisional Control rooms at Jammu and Srinagar are constituted under the
supervision of Co-ordinator / Programmer of Division. Mr. Amit Thappar,
Resident Project Manager, TCS, will immediately direct Mr. Viqar Beigh
and other Resource Persons to be associated with Divisional Control
Rooms at Srinagar / Jammu. These control rooms shall also function 24 X
7 from 22

April. Additional Commsioner Commercial Tax (Tax Planning)
and Additional Commssioner Commercial Taxes (Admn) Jammu and
Kashmir will give wider publicity to the help being provided to Dealers /
Tax payers.
