"End of the Year Reflection"


This year, I have learned the laws of universe, and I learned that people or
the countries think very differently or have different beliefs. We observe things
that surrounds us by creating an equation, creating experiments or the hypothesis,
and etc. We analyzed the things by observing the experimental objects and even
living things or observing our bodies and we began to create experiments.
Therefore, we were learning how to create an experiments and learning to test our
hypothesis. The science is very important to us because it is very awesome and
helpful. For example: to get all this electricity, our ancestors were trying to create
them using science but the other things. All our ancestors were using science to
create the stuff or useful things that are being used till this days.
One thing I learned is that you can experiment your hypothesis to get the
answer or what you want with creating. We were experimenting with creating the
rockets and we were experimenting the functions or the physics that we learned to
find out how you can make the rocket to fly faster and further. The functions that I
used to create were: velocity, acceleration, force, gravity and the air resistance.So,
we were kept adding stuff to make it faster and to make it fly further. Also, we
were cutting some parts of the rocket. At last, we were able to make it go further,
than before and faster.
The second thing that I learned was that you can find something out or
mathematical stuff by using an equation, which will help you. We were using the
equations to find the object's velocity, acceleration, force, and the inertia. For
example: We were trying to find how fast does the ball falls from the hill which
has a distance of "20m" and the seconds of "40s."Then, we used the equation v=d/t
because we want to find out the object's velocity. We will just have to plug in the
numbers in the order into the equation. The equation will change into "v=20m/40s,
after that we will divide those 2 numbers to get the velocity. Finally, we have
found the velocity of the ball that was falling from the hill, and it is "0.5m/s." At
last, this was how we used the equations to find the velocity of the objects and etc.
To find other functions, we can use other formula's, such as; f=m*a, a=v/t=v1-
v2/t1-t2, and etc.
The important reason of this learning was that we always have to look back
on the topics those we learned. We always have to have more hunger for finding
out things and always be curious, instead of using the electronics or the electricity
that we are using. Then, we also learned that the universe has its own rules that we
have to follow. For example: in order to live in earth we have to eat, drink and do
other thing to survive in this world. There is a thing or function called "Gravity"
that pulls us down to the earth so we won't be floating around the earth. Also, we
learned that there are a lot of more stuff in the galaxy than in the earth. We learned
all of these topics because we were studying about the "Ode to Universe, and laws
of our Universe, and more.''
I have grown as a scientist this year by learning topics such as: Ode to
Universe, Laws of our Universe, Sound, Newton's Laws, and more. I have grown
as a scientist because now I know a lot about the galaxies, planets, stars, the earth,
the functions or the Newton's Laws, and on and on. After this year studying with
Ms.Sutjiawan which was the best teacher for me till now, we even learned how to
question claims or peers, answer the questions, give evidences for our answers and
others. My teacher ms.sutjiawan helped me a lot because her explanations are very
good and accurate.
