The Best Part of Me Poem Assignment Description:

Select a body part, why is this the best part of you? You will write a poem that describes who
you are or reveals a part of your identity. The poem needs to be at least 12 lines long and have
at least 3 poetic devices. You will also have to write a short rationale for each poetic device
used, describing what you were intending to convey with your poetic device. For instance,
dont describe yourself as a rabid bear if you are intending to convey that you are sweet, gentle,
as well as a push over. Come up with a title that reflects the content of the poem.
This assignment will be worth 20% of your final grade.
Ask yourself these questions to make sure you have everything needed to complete this
