According to section 2 (e) of foreign
trade (development and regulation )
act,1992, the term export means
taking out of india any goods by
land, sea or air.
The term export means physical exports
of any goods.
1) IN-BUILT EXPORT DEPARTMENT
Under this structure, an exporter divides the
organization's activities into two separate
departments .
The export manager is the head of the export
marketing department.
He looks after after the organisations export
activities.

IN THIS TYPE OF INTERNAL
ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE AN
ORGANISATION WILL SET-UP A SEPARATE
EXPORT BUSINESS.
THE EXPORT MANAGER IS THE HEAD OF THE
EXPORT DEPARTMENT.
THE DEPARTMENT IS PROVIDED WITH
TRAINED STAFF SUFFICIENT BUDGET.

SUBSIDIARY MEANS A NEW COMPANY.

THE EXPORT SUBSIDIARY UNDERTAKES VARIOUS
ACTIVITIES RELATING TO RESEARCH,
PROMOTION, PRICING, DISTRIBUTION.

THE EXPORT SUBSIDIARY MAY CONDUCT BOTH
PRODUCTION AND MARKETING ACTIVITIES.

HE MAY SET UP IN-BUILT EXPORT DEPARTMENT.
IT MAY ALSO BE SUITABLEFOR SMALL VOLUME
EXPORT
2.THE NATURE OF DEMAND
IF THE EXPORTER EXPECTS THE DEMAND TO BE
STRONG AND CONTINUOUS HE MAY EVEN
ENTER INTO JOINT VENTURE WITH A REPUTED
ORGANISATION.

THE FOREIGN ORGANISATION MAY UNDERTAKE
MANUFACTURING ACTIVITES OR MARKETING
ACTIVITES OR BOTH
WHEN AN EXPORTER EXPORTS A NUMBER
OF PRODUCT LINES THEN HE MAY SET UP A
SEPAARATE EXPORT DEPARTMENT FOR
EACH PRODUCT LINE.

TYPES OF EXPORT MARKETING
ORGANISATIONS IN INDIA.
1. MANUFACTURER EXPORTERS.
MANUFACTURER EXPORTER ARE LARGE
SCALE EXPORTERS OR ORGANISATIONS
WHICH MAKE THERE OWN
ARRANGEMENTS TO EXPORTS THEIR
PRODUCTS.
MANUFACTURER EXPORTER DO NOT
DEPEND ON INTERMEDIARIES
(MIDDLEMEN) FOR EXPORTING THEIR
PRODUCTS.
A MERCHANT MEANS A PERSON WHO
TRADES IN GOODS THAT IS, BUYS AND
SELLS GOODS.
MERCHANT EXPORTER DO NOT
MANUFACTURE THE GOODS ON THEIR OWN
THEY MAY BOOK ORDERS DIRECTLY OR
THROUGH THEIR AGENTS

SINCE A VERY LONG TIME, EXPORT AND
TRADING HOUSES ARE CONDUCTING
EXPORT TRADE IN INDIA.
THEY ARE GIVEN CERTAIN BENEFITS AND
CONCESSIONS BY BBY THE GOVERNMENT
,THEY UNDERTAKE EXPORTS IN LARGE
QUANTITIES.
STATUS HOLDERS HELPS IN BUILDING
MARKETING INFRASTRUCTURE.

IN THIS CASE, A NUMBER OF MANUFACTURERS
SET-UP A JOINT ORGANISATIO OF THEIR EXPORT
ACTIVITIES.

IN EXPORT CONSORTIA, ALL THE PARTICIPATING
MANUFACTURERS GET THE BENEFIT OF JOINT
EXPORT MARKETING.
