TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. Terms and conditions refer to the contents stated in this documents and future editions.
1.2. Bright Kids Corner refers to the company. It is abbreviated to BKC throughout this document.
1.3. Teacher refers to the authorized person who conducts the lesson.

2. FEES
2.1. The enrolment fee must be paid on the first day of enrolment/attendance of the students first-ever lesson and is
non-refundable.
2.2. The full fees as specified by the yearly Bright Kids Corner Art School Timetable and Fees must be paid by the
first lesson of attendance in each term.
2.3. All fees paid are non-refundable unless approved by BKC through special consideration.
2.4. Fees must be paid by the first lesson you attend if you are paying by term. Otherwise paid weekly with extra
charge and your next lesson paid in advance.
2.5. If fees are not paid in advance, the students may not be entitled to attend the lesson.
2.6. If the student cannot attend class, please notify the teacher 3 hours beforehand. Failure to notify the teacher will
give BKC the rights to withdraw your right to recover the lesson. There will be no refunds for any missed lessons.
You cannot arrange the missed lesson on the next term unless you missed the last lesson of term.
2.7. Once you have paid your fees either by terms or weeks, you are contracted to stay and continue the lesson/s. There
will be no refunds if for whatever reason the student discontinues the lesson/s.
2.8. Fees must be paid before student is entitled to participate in any events or competitions.

3. LESSON
3.1. Students should be punctual to their lesson/s. If students are not punctual, extra time or a recover lesson will NOT
permitted based on this reason unless there are extenuating circumstances as defined by BKC.
3.2. Students should listen and obey the instructions from the teacher. Any injuries or damages caused due to
disobedience are not the responsibility of BKC and its affiliates.
3.3. Parents/guardians should not disrupt the lesson/s for any reason unless given permission by the teacher. If
parents/guardian need to pick up a student before the end of the lesson, please notify the teacher beforehand so
that an arrangement can be made. Parents/guardians are responsible for the student/s after the lesson time as
specified in the Bright Kids Corner Art School Timetable and Fees document. BKC will hold no responsibility for
any injuries or damages after the lesson.
3.4. All lessons are structured with consideration in accordance to attending students. Any complaints about the lesson
should be written in email to bkcorner@tpg.com.au. Complaints will be reviewed and considered by BKC but no
refunds will be given under any circumstances.
3.5. Whilst the teacher generally monitors student behavior, any injuries caused by another student that occurs on the
premises are not the responsibility of BKC.
3.6. Students are responsible to bring their own materials. Spare materials may not always be available therefore,
failure to do so may result in the student missing out on core content in the lesson and compromise the quality of
the lesson. No recover lesson or time will be given if students have not brought the correct material to the lesson/s.
3.7. Medical and health condition/s should be reported to BKC upon enrolment in the Enrolment Form. BKC is not
responsible for any medical issues that may occur on premises if not informed.
3.8. Whilst all care is taken and all classes are fully supervised, BKC accepts no responsibility for damage, loss or
injury on the premises.

4. PUBLICATION
4.1. Due to art exhibitions, competitions, publications and other possible events, student artworks may be selected for
these events and displayed. BKC does their utmost care to prevent damage but holds no responsibility for
damaged artworks. Students submit artworks at their own risk.
4.2. BKC may take photos of the students and events. Some of these photos will be selected and put into publication
such as the Bright Kids Corner website. Parents/guardians/students are permitted to take photos at events for
personal use only. Under no circumstances are they to be distributed under the Child Protection Act 1999.

Enrolment into lessons will only be processed after agreement to the terms and conditions. By agreeing to these terms and
conditions, you are agreeing to comply by content stated.

I, the parent/guardian/student, have read, understood and agree to all terms and conditions of the fee payments and all
information given regarding Bright Kids Corner Inc.
