BETWEEN 15 GENOTYPE OF CHILI (Capsicum annum L.)

Abstract
This research aim is to knowing the characteristic of chili genotype and to learn the relationship
between it that was tested on the peat lands. This research has done on January till 2013 June at
Agriculture Faculty peat researching land of Riau University, Rimbo Panjang village, Tambang
district, Kampar regency. This research use full random plans that contain 15 treatment on 3
cluster that resulting 45 experiment unit. This research observing the quantitative and qualitative
character. The quantitative data analyze statistically used variance test continued by Duncan
Multiple Test leveled 5%. The qualitative data analyzed by cluster that referring on Capsicum
Descriptions. This research result showed the different between 15 genotype of chili that was
testing use quantitative and qualitative characters. The relative connection from all genotype that
was observed showing in qualitative character (flower amount per axil, corona color, corona
tinge color, flower corona shape, stamen color, intermediate fruit phase color, fruit shape, tip
fruit shape and tip fruit structure).
