Our first term is our benchmark to improvement
As soon as we finish our first report card, the teaching team looks at
strategies that were put in place and think of other measures we could
use to improve students in need.
In June, each teacher presents an overview of their school year:
what went well, challenges and best practices.
French Department
8 students had a failing grade.
Remedial, FSL monitor,
Rosetta Stone program,
3 students earned a passing
grade, 2 improved and 1 has
the same grade.
2 students decreased.
Resource teacher, FSL monitor, 2
students added on Rosetta Stone.
6 students are failing in French.
Math split
7 students had a failing grade.
Math consultant came to help
the math specialist, Remedial,
Extra practice sheets, Reflex
math.
5 students earned a passing
grade, 2 improved, but 2 new
students were added to the
failing list.
Leaps and Bounds training through
PD, Cycle team-teaching, Remedial,
Reflex math, Grid paper.
1 student is failing in Math.

1 in French,
1 in ELA,

2 students are no longer failing in all core subjects.

Math: 1 student passed.
French: 1 student increased and 1 decreased
Combined math and ELA: 1 student remained the same
