Cut ( from "B" cell to double line ) from main Est. & main Rate (Road Est. , Road Rate,etc.) & paste
one item including all sub item in " Estimate " or "Rate" sheet then hide sub items which is not
required. Before hide sub item, make sure that all sub item numbered as "0".
From main Est. & main Rate (Road Est. , Road Rate,etc.), position of Est. & Rate. From col.A of main
Est. & main Rate . So don't cut & paste cell "A" or don't total row cut & paste in any way.
From rate position of estimate by page no & item no , description, Sl no, and from Estimate position of
rate by unit ,item rate.
Give item no. in Index and sub item no in corresponding Est. sheet. Don't change sub item no or don't
put "0" in sub item no which is double under lined.
In rate analysis to delete any row watch wheather any text or data in out side page falls in deletion , if
so up & down the text or data before deletion i.e. don't delete any text or data .
Bitumen & Emulsion analysis, hide which is not required .
To cut & paste or copy & paste, part text from a text take from formula bar. To join two text in one text
cut one text from formula bar & paste in other text.
Hide row by right click after selecting required row to be hide .To unhide select some row covering hide
row then unhide by right click.
If drug, Ref.cell no. & any value in a cell ( if two or more cell including this cell collectively drug )
automatically increase 1 value than previous but copy & paste will increase Ref. cell no not increase
value. If a value in a cell alone drug then value will remain same.
Inc. T.C. to exclu. T.C.of a item , if a) (over WBM) & b) (over OBT) both exist, in Est.sheet put one of
them =0 , then in Rate sheet put "For"=0 (before tack coat ) in existing other item of tack coat and also
in description of item in Est. sheet . replace " including tack coat " by" excluding tack coat" , then hide
all row in Rate & estimate sheet which is not required, don't delete.
If a Estimate composed by two or more file , put all in a folder , named original as " Estimate of
..etc." & other as" Ref.1etc. ", " Ref. 2.etc. ", .etc.
Page side, labour rate from top to bottom as order of - HMP batch mix 90-120 , HMP drum mix 60-
90 , HMP drum mix 40-60 , Mobile HMP , concrete mixer or mixing pan .

i) Delete calculation if any in between two parts ( one "description" part other "Qty., Unit, Rate,
Amount" part ) in new sub item then cut (total row cut ) or copy (total row copy) only calculation
portion in between two parts of old one & Insert cut cells or Insert copied cells in between two parts of
new one. Then hide 2 part after deleting extra row (if any) but keeping one row between 2 parts .
To introduce braking of lead in a lead ; please brake before Ref. lead cell then sum up into ref. lead cell
Say BM (H ii /H iii )---- if this to be change in Mobile then chose what option to be changee considering
which may be used in recent time , if H ii tobe changed then put "1" in format box & if H iii to be
changed then put "0" in format box & change.
iii) But if cut from "B"cell to double line done then Insert cut cells operation may be done other wise
don't do this operation.
ii) If total cut or total copy then do Insert cut cells or Insert copied cells. If total cut or total copy not
done then do paste operation.
Page set up. Reduce margin. As border cell, keep page break line middle of border col. If any cell
required more width , do this but give scale in page lay out i.e. 95 % ,90 % etc and adjust by border col.
For bulk bitumen & emulsion same " lead break " . Do one "lead break" and just copy & paste in other
after creating necessary row before lead line.
To shift (copy & paste) a mearge cell in same row 1 st shift in another unmearge place then in tearget
OR 1 st select mearge cell then click 'mearge & center' i.e. unmearge then move and then mearge
again.
For cut & paste or cut & Insert cut cells from mother sheet (Road Est,Road Rate, ..etc.) cut from cell "B"
to double line & paste or Insert cut cells in "B"cell in other sheet as "A" cell contain ref. no & gives
position of cut item . But in other sheet other than mother sheet do total row cut .

39 Click in a formula cell & see Ref. cell correctly seclected or not , also see formula.

To join two item in a single item give No. in index as say ' 6 a' &' 6 b' , not change No. in Est & Rate
directly .To create two item from one item copy the same in Est. & Rate & create place in index then
change ref. cell no as required,also in arguments. To create two sub item copy sub item in Est. & Rate ,
then change ref. cell no , then join in argumants.
To do Final Est.in same mother sheet Col. A to be hide( not deleted as this may be required in future)
as col A contains Ref. no but insert one col. between col A & col B ,for this select col. B then insert col.
by right click . Now col A & col B will same width. Now hide col A then Col. B act as border Col. In any
way if any item to be cut after inserting col . from this sheet & to be pasted in another sheet then, Cut
item from cell "C" to double line.
It is better to do final Est. in separate sheet as in this it is possible to see wheathere any item or sub
item in hide is active or not.
In rate sheet keep all item above " END " double line . To do this insert sufficient row with in " END "
double line if existing row No. looks insufficient.
Do hide opration (normal work may also) in 120 % zoom but remember in zoom (any %) some cell
may show hatch , so see normal view of hatch cell & do page setup in normal view.
To draw double horizontal line use " top & bottom border line option". & "bottom border line option"
may be used.
In Est. 2 sub item but in Rate 1 sub item .To change from one item to other item ,change 1 st item
rate to 2nd item rate & refer to 2 nd in Est. , then put rate of 1st item "0". Then hide 1st sub item in
Est.
To increase or decrease row in two or more row merge cell insert or delete row in between mearge
cell.
