The title of the band and album is

incredibly small, white font and is located

in both of the top corners of the cover.
The fact that they are so small implies that
they arent important and that the focus is
the odd looking scene below.
The scene of the pool area is strange as the water of the pool is
actually fire and lava and the sky is the sea. This is not supposed to
look flawless but instead super imposed, which is easily seen. They
did to make their design different, which makes the audience think
why has this been done and making them curious about the tracks
on the album. The bright, vivid colours of the elements make the
cover very eye catching, which hints at the style of the songs on the
CD.
The use of
binary
opposites;
water and
fire
connotes
to the
audience
that the
tracks on
the CD
range from
very
upbeat to
mellow.
The arrangement of the track names runs
vertically down the center of the cover with
each song shown as if they have been written by
hand, which contrasts to the neat type face on
the front cover.
The background of the back cover is a picture of the sky which like
the front cover has been edited to increase the vibrancy of the
colour. Having the real sky on the back cover is again strange as it
wouldnt look out of place on the front cover, but they have used it
on the reverse side. This implicates that this album is out of the
norm and different, offering a new experience.
The white
colour of the
track names
makes them
hard to
distinguish
from the
background,
which
suggests like
the front
cover, the
words arent
important
and the
audience is
supposed to
focus on the
artwork
