HOME LESSON 2
Introduction
There are certain changes in the
environment before, during and after a typhoon
occur. Although these natural occurrences
cannot be prevented, the damages that they
cause maybe minimized if people take
precautionary measures. When a typhoon
occurs, it could cause a lot of damages to
properties and lives. Strong typhoons may
bring strong winds that can blow down houses
and other properties. The heavy rain that
usually accompanies a typhoon could also be
destructive because it may cause flood, flash
floods, erosion and over flowing of rivers.

HOME
Lets Summarize!
A typhoon is an almost predictable
calamity because even though it easily
changes its tracks, its presence can be easily
monitored. Countries that are always visited
by typhoons have instituted safety measures
to prepare people for the destructive weather
occurrence and to help curb, if not totally
prevent, injuries and casualties. Typhoons
can destroy properties and lives. It is
necessary and wise to prepare for
emergencies in order for us to feel secure
and safe.
