Achievements

2014 First annual Williston Middle School Reading Fair: I initiated,
raised funds and donations, recruited 50 student participants, and
solicited community judges including a local author, a bookstore
owner, and parent volunteers.


2014 First ever Fort Union ND History and Creative Writing Field
Trip. -I collaborated with the nps museum curator, Fred
McVaugh, to incorporate common core state benchmarks of
non-fiction reading and North Dakota History with creative
writing and literature of nature and place. I also incorporated
challenge initiative activities for the end of the day. To view
