By (the Token of) time (through the Ages),

Verily Man is in loss,

(Time Through the Ages)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

١ ِ َْْ‫وَا‬
1. By (the Token of) time (through the Ages),

٢ ٍ ُْ َِ ‫ن‬

َ َِْ‫ن ا‬
 ‫ِإ‬
2. Verily Man is in loss,


 َِْ ‫ت َو!ََاﺹَْا‬
ِ َِ‫ُا ا‬#ِ$َ%‫) ('َ&ُا َو‬
َ *ِ+‫ِإ ا‬
3. Except such as have
- Faith,
- and do righteous deeds,
- and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth,

٣ ِ ْ,ِ ‫َو!ََاﺹَْا‬
- and of Patience and Constancy.
