Together, these boards have four schools with over 1800 students in grades K-12. The majority of students and families at these schools are Muslim, and come from over 40 different countries, speaking many languages. Therefore, WEP strives to meet the unique needs of this commu- nity in a culturally sensitive manner. Our programs include social-emotional and mental health curriculum delivery, skill-building groups, school and commu- nity wide events, parent consultation, and staff professional development. We also work individually with students as needed. WEP believes that it takes strong families and communities to raise strong children.
