Re: District Attorney Susan Doyle's Appointment by Speaker Thom Tillis
J ohnston County District Attorney has been appointed by North Carolina House of
Representatives Speaker Thom Tillis to serve on the North Carolina Human Trafficking Commission in
her capacity as District Attorney. The term is effective immediately and will expire on September 3D,
201S. In his notification of the appointment, Speaker Tillis addressed Doyle by saying, "I am confident
you will have much to offer to the North Carolina Human Trafficking Commission and will be effective
and diligent in your service to our State."
Doyle stated, "It is a great privilege to be appointed to this commission by Speaker Tillis. I am
honored that he would select me to serve on the North Carolina Human Trafficking Commission, and I
look forward to serving our state in this capacity. I hope my role as District Attorney will bring a unique
perspective to this commission as we work to combat the growing problem of human trafficking in our
State."
