#n this unit students will learn the machinations o$ a Hispanic mar!et and its rele%ance in di$$erent cultures.
Students will be e&ploring the products o$ Hispanic cultures o$$ered in mar!ets. "he will research, taste, smell
and learn to coo! %arious products. #n addition, the will be ta!ing %irtual tours o$ di$$erent mar!ets to grow
their understanding o$ the comple& parts o$ Hispanic mar!ets. #n unco%ering the di$$erent $actors in running a
mar!et stand, the will also begin to design and run moc! mar!ets in preparation $or the $inal presentation da,
when the will produce and run a li%e stand during our mar!et da. A$ter de%eloping a ban! o$ !nowledge,
designing a business plan and $inall, running it during a li%e communit e%ent, students will e&perience a da
in a Hispanic mar!et in our school.
