Sow in the morn thy seed, At eve not hold thy hand;
1. To doubt and fear give no heed, Broad - cast it oer the land!

1. Where thorn and this - tles grow, Drop it u - pon the rock!
The good, the fruit - ful ground, Ex - pect not here nor there;
2. Oer hill and dale and plain; Go forth, then, e - vry - where!
2. And du - ly shall ap - pear, In ver - dure, beau - ty, strength,
2. The ten - der blade, the stalk, And the full corn at length.
