Pat frankfurters dry with paper towels. Heat
oil (2 inches) to 365". Mix cornmeal mix, milk
drain on paper towels. Insert wooden skewer
in end'of each frankfurter if desired.

Cut thin slice from top of each bun; reserve.

wall. (Use removed bread for bread crumbs or

minum foil. (To serve immediately, heat on
oven rack in 350" oven until hot and cheese is
melted, about 26 minutes.) Refrigerate no
longer than 24 hours.
TO SERVE: About 35 minutes before serv-
ing, heat wrapped Hot Vegetable Sandwiches
on oven rack in 350o oven until hot and cheese
is melted, about 30 minutes.
