Key Processes Impacting Planning & Scheduling:

Design:
1. Engineering Issue Plan to be created within Ten days from receipt of Contract
2. Updating Engineering issue plan.
3. All Bill of materials should be active before data download from SAP. (Data downloaded is
scheduled on every Saturday in SAP).
4. Mater Master View Extension:
a. MRP View: MRP Type, Planned delivery Time, In house Production time, PR creation to
PR release, PR release to P.O release, P.O release to drawing receipts, drawing receipt to
drawing approval
b. Purchasing View: Purchasing group
Project:
1. Project structure to be created within One day from assigning Project Code.
2. Billing Schedule to be finalized and updated in EIP screen within ten days of EIP release.
3. Attachment of Material to Project Structure within seven working days from assignment of plant
in EIP.
4. User Status TECO (Technically Completed) immediately after dispatch of Equipment from
Plant.
5. Update Transportation time in EIP.
6. Blocking of material in BOM as per Billing Schedule.
Purchase:
1. Material lead time should be reviewed.
2. Supplier Portal Updation.
3. Review &Short Close Purchase Orders.

Planning:
1. Engineering issue Plan should be updated with manufacturing Plant within seven days of EIP
release.
2. Second Level Bill of Material to be created in SAP within seven days from drawing issue by
Design Department.
3. Review & Short Close Purchase Order & Purchase requisition.


Manufacturing (M/c Shop & Assembly):
1. Routing should be created within seven days of drawing issue from Design.
2. Alternate routing to be created for Components & assemblies.
3. Production Version should be maintained on same day of routing creation.
4. Routing time should be reviewed and updated.
5. Time ticketing to be carried out on daily basis.
6. TECO (Technical Completion) of Production Orders

Quality:
1. Inspection date should be updated on Supplier Portal.
2. Inspection time for In house inspection to be provided to M/C shop & Assembly department to
maintain the same in routing.
3. Packing Clearance should be updated immediately after Usage decision in SAP.
4. Quality Operation in routing should be time ticket immediately after Physical Inspection.
E&C:
1. E & C activities should be updated on weekly basis.
