1 Unscrew the fixing nut (M16) of the reverse gear
M16 screwing torque: 50-60N•M
2 Loosen the chain-adjusting nut M12
M12 screwing torque: 30-40N•M
3 Separate the chain link lock from the
chain then remove the chain
4 Loosen the fixing bolt (M10) on the reverse gear
bracket then remove bracket M10 screwing torque: 20-30N•M 5 Remove the reverse gear set
6 Disassemble the reverse gear set, check for abrasion of
the planetary gear ,the driving gear,liner bushing brace. Replace those parts if any abrasion is noticed.
7 Loosen the locking nut at the reverse gear set. Unscrew
the adjusting bolt to the end until both the adjusting bolt and lock nut are in the same opening direction ,then remove the adjusting bolt and nut
8 Remove two fixing bolts on the shift yoke cover.
Then remove the yoke cover
9 Dismount the set collar of the reverse gear yoke
10 Push the shifting yoke, and take out the reverse gear cable.
11 Take out the shifting yoke and then replace the spring
12 To assemble the reverse gear set by the opposite
procedure of disassemble, Then adjust the tightness of the chain and the reverse gear cable
Note: When re-installing the chain, ensure the direction of clasp groove is opposite to the chain’s movement ADJUSTING THE REVERSE GEAR CABLE
1 Loosen the locking nut of the handle, located on the right
side, next to driver's seat
2 Loosen the locking nut on the reverse gear
3 Adjust the adjusting bolt of reverse gear cable. Turn bolt
counter-clockwise to loosen the cable , turn the adjusting bolt clockwise to tighten the cable
4 When the gearshift handle is set forward, there is 2mm free
path for cable, fasten the locking nut of the reverse gear cable ADJUSTING CHAIN TENSION 1 Press the chain with thumb until it has a bound distance of 5-10mm, then
