If crab and fish are fried in the same oil, is it permissible to eat the fried fish?

Question:
If crab and fish are fried in the same oil, is it permissible to eat the fried fish?
Thus does the crab make the oil impure?
Answer:
In the ame of Allah, the !ost "racious, the !ost !erciful.
As-sal#mu $ala%kum wa-rahmatull#hi wa-barak#tuh.
Aquatic creatures which are born and can onl% li&e in the water do not become impure upon death, re'ardless if the% are (al#l or not.
Therefore, lobsters, squids, octopuses and other creatures, despite bein' unlawful for consumption in the (anafi school, will be deemed pure
after death and will not contaminate other fish and meat sold to'ether.
Aquatic creatures which are born in the sea and can sur&i&e out of the sea such as crabs and fro's will also remain pure upon death.
Thus, if crabs are fried in the same oil as fish, the fried fish will be permissible to consume. The crab will not make the oil impure.)*+
