LIVES CHANGED IN SAN DIEGO

Today I talked to students from Hong

Kong, Beijing, San Francisco, and
Guatemala. We discussed their
spiritual journeys and thoughts on
Jesus. Then, I came home and played
in the sand with my 2 year old with
her new bucket and sand toys. What
a day, right? If you hadn't guessed, Im
writing to you from sunny San Diego,
where our family will spend 6 weeks
alongside of 120 other sta and
students. We are on a summer
project where students will get
intensive training on how to share
their faith and live for Jesus. Today
we went to campus at University of
California- San Diego and had such a
fun time engaging students in
spiritual conversation. At the end of
a full day, I am again reminded of
how blessed I am to be here...to get
to share the Gospel with those
whove never heard, watch students
grow in their faith right before my
eyes, and enjoy spending time with
my incredible family.
Would you please pray for our
summer? We would love prayer for
the 8 Missouri State students who
are joining us out here. Pray that we
would see God move in remarkable
ways and that the city of San Diego
would encounter the Gospel.
And as we look back on the past year
Missouri State, there are several
other areas that we just wanted to
take a moment to praise God for:
Praise God that 5 of the interns on

our sta team have decided to join
sta with Cru and pursue a long-
term career in full time ministry!
Praise God that there were only 3
bible studies in sororities at the
beginning of the school
year and now there is a bible study
in EVERY sorority house!
Praise God that we were able to see
around 200 students trust Christ
through one-on-one
conversations and our large Spring
outreach!
Praise God that we have double the
amount of students going on
summer project this summer!
In the midst of so many things to
praise God for, pray for us as well.
Pray that God would use us during
the rest of our time here in San
Diego. We appreciate you so much.
