AND GRADES TO PERMIT THE VESSEL, AT ALL TIMES, TO MEET THE MAXIMUM
SULPHUR CONTENT REQUIREMENTS OF ANY EMISSION CONTROL ZONE AS
STIPULATED IN MARPOL ANNEX VI AND/OR ZONES REGULATED BY REGIONAL AND/OR
NATIONAL AUTHORITIES SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE EU AND THE US
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, WHEN THE VESSEL IS TRADING WITHIN THAT
ZONE.
CHARTERERS SHALL SUPPLY SUITABLE FUEL TO ENABLE MAIN ENGINE PROPULSION
AND AUXILIARY MACHINERY TO OPERATE EFFICIENTLY AND WITHOUT HARMFUL
AFFECTS. FUELS SUPPLIED TO CONTAIN NO WASTE LUBRICANTS OR CHEMICALS.
SLUDGE REMOVAL, IF ANY, TO BE FOR CHARTERERS ACCOUNT AND TIME
MAXIMUM BUNKER CAPACITIES: 1454 MT IFO, 372 MT MDO
THE VESSEL SHOULD NORMALLY BUNKER TO ABOUT 90% OF MAX CAPACITY IN ORDER
TO REDUCE RISK OF SPILLAGE. FURTHERMORE DUE TO POSSIBLE DETERIORATION
AND/OR INCOMPATABILITY OF DIFFERENT SUPPLIES OF FUEL OILS IT MAY BE
NECESSARY ON OCCASION TO REDUCE THE AVAILABLE CAPACITY IN ORDER TO
AVOID MIXING OF DIFFERENT SUPPLIES. THEREFORE MAXIMUM BUNKER INTAKE IS
ALWAYS AT MASTER/CHIEF ENGINEER'S DISCRETION.
