BINDING MATERIAL used is cement, crush and sand. Sand source is from Ravi fill (fine sand) and Lawrance Pur (coarser sand). Cement used is FAUJI Cement.
Mixer machine is used to mix the binding materials (cement, sand and crush).Pile # 217 is going to be poured when we visited the site.Tremie pipe is used to pour the concrete into the bored hole. The Tremie pipe is extended downward into the bore hole and kept immersed in concrete so that no Segregation occurs.A large cone shaped bucket with an opening at the bottom is provided. The concrete from mixer machine is poured into the bucket. The bucket is then lifted by crane and held over the tremie pipe and then mouth of cone is opened and concrete is allowed to fall down under the action of gravity. The concrete is followed by tremie pipe. The other end of tremie pipe is immersed in concrete to avoid segregation.
