Course Overview:
Welcome to Senior English. This course is a comprehensive study of British literature. The students will read
and analye wor!s of British origin from a variety of authors and genres. They will contrast ma"or wor!s and
authors to the ma"or themes and issues of this literary period. Emphasis on the writing process will be on the
essay# analysis of themes and other literary elements# components of a senior level research paper and S$T
writing. This course will also reinforces grammatical and sentence mechanics and their importance in
producing a well%developed paper.
