Its a technical school with more or less 400 students and 80
teachers. This school has many bachelors as: Electricity,
Construction, Ebanistry, and Business Managements. Also works the
UDELAS extension University.

Resumen de la unidad
We should eat healthy foods and stay well-nourished and to have good health. There are many ways that we can apply
to achieve these goals. Also the Students search for information about recipes, food prices, food pyramid and nutrition.

This project is make with the purpose that the students have the responsibilities of form groups of five students.
Each member of the group is responsible of a specific role. For instance there should a coordinator, two researches and
a designer.
Everyone has to present an oral report of a specific /different topic.

CONCEPTS: Nutritional habits,
Food groups,
Causes and consequences of a bad nutrition
Sicknesses.

PROCEDURE: -Surveying in the neighborhood or about classmate about food habits using grammar
learned.
-Classifying healthy food and junk food using connectors in a written chart.
-Using the modals: should and shouldnt in sentences with nutritional habits after
watching a video.
-Researching about healthy and unhealthy food.

ATTITUDE: -Showing interest for practicing healthy nutritional habits.
-Valuing practicing healthy nutritional habits.
-Being conscious about causes and consequences of a bad nutrition.

-Identifies and summarizes nutritional habits using a wide range of print and non- print texts.
- Values and diffuses the important of healthy habits to achieve personal wellbeing.

Resumen de evaluaciones
Before

In order to in a class discussion, students answer to specific questions about the main topic of the
project to know if they have previous knowledge of it.
Base on this class discussion, wrong information or concepts must be corrected.
During:
The groups present the research of the selected topic and write their drafts of the written paper.
Each student writes his / her own oral report, or at least an outline of their oral report.
Each student reads aloud their oral report in order to practice the pronunciation and intonation of
it.

They have learned most of the information necessary for this project in this science course. In
relation to the English language learning, they have learned the basic vocabulary and daily
expressions during the school year.
Procedimientos / ACTIVIDADES


INICIO:

- Brainstorming about healthy, food and nutrition, answering some essential questions.
-Watching a video.
-Writes sentences using modals: Should or shouldnt about nutritional habits

DESARROLLO:
- Works in groups,
- Investigates and analyzes the answers the questions contents.
- Ask some neighborhoods or students about their food preferences.
- Reports the results in oral presentation.
- Elaborates healthy recipe applying grammar learned.

CIERRE:
- Categorizes nutritional habits of the students or neighborhoods according the pyramid food in written
or oral way.
-Presents orally a healthy recipe selected (team groups).
- Make a power point or oral presentation about healthy nutritional habits, and advices to keep in
shape.

These students demand more of our time and patience so too, will they
require specialized instructional strategies in a structural environment that
supports and enhance their learning potential. Its important to remember
that learning disabled are not students who are incapacitate or unable to
learn, rather they need differentiated instruction tailored to their distinctive
learning abilities.
In my case I have a student who doesnt talk, doesnt hear but working
together with the inclusion teacher.
I make the necessary adjustments suggested by her inclusion teacher.

the students including language courses, dictionaries, grammar books
,phrases books, online lessons, mp3, players and electronic translator. Also

Planning, preparing lesson of classes.
Marketing and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written

Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such
as sports competitions, school parties, dinner and excursion
Participating in marketing events for the language school
