Citizen Me: Rights & Responsibilities
Dear Aunt Sally,
This week in Civics we began to learn about Citizenship. Did
You know that Im a citizen?! Its true! Im a citizen in many
different communities. Im a citizen at home, at school,
in our city, in our state and in our country. Everyday, I
live many of the responsibilities and rights that I have from
being a citizen. For example, just yesterday, I walked
to school. Since the sidewalk are controlled by our city, and
I am a citizen of our city, I had the right to use them. Some
