GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING PROJECT DOCUMENT
Contents
1. Introduction (It should contain details about your project, minimum of 2 pages)
2. System analysis
2.1 Existing system

2.4 Advantages of proposed system
3. System requirement specification
3.1 Functional requirements (about modules)
3.2 Non-functional requirements
3.2.1 Usability
3.2.2 Reliability

3.2.4 Supportability
3.3 Software requirements
3.4 hardware requirements
4. Technologies used (It should contain information about front end and back end
tools used)
5. System design
5.1 System architecture
5.2 UML Diagrams (for use case diagrams, specify use case name, actors, flow of
events. Include some content about each UML diagram)
5.3ER diagram (Include some content about ER diagram)
5.4 Data base design (data base tables)

Instructions
1. Complete document should be in Times New Roman.
2. Maintain line spacing of 1.5.
3. Margin spacing- left-1.5, top, right and bottom-1
4. Main headings should be in 16, sub headings and sub-sub headings in 12 bold and
content should be in 12 regular.
5. All main headings and sub headings should be in capital letters and sub-sub
headings should follow Capitalize Each Word format.
6. Sub headings should be in following format
5.1 Sub heading1
5.2 Sub heading2
7. Dont use colon after sub headings.
8. Dont use tab spaces for paragraph.
9. Use center alignment for main heading and justify alignment for content.
10. Table names and figure names should be at the bottom with center alignment.
11. The numbering of table name should be as follows:
Table 10.1 Name of the table (should be in bold)
12. The numbering of figure name should be as follows:
Figure 11.1 Name of the figure (should be in bold)
13. Dont include sub-sub headings in index.
14. For points, use same number format or bullet format.
