AT&T Wisconsin Pioneers to Paint Mural of United States
on Playground at Elementary School in Elk Mound

ELK MOUND, Wednesday, August 20, 2014 Children will be able to take a giant leap across the United
States as they play on the playground at Mound View Elementary School in Elk Mound this fall, thanks to
the AT&T Pioneers.

The AT&T Pioneers will paint a 20-foot by 30-foot mural of the United States on the Mound View Elementary
playground as part of a volunteer community service project on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m.

The project will allow teachers to use the playground to teach geography through creative play. The new
playground will be ready for students as they head back to school this fall.

The AT&T Pioneers provided paints and supplies for the map project. The Pioneers are a local organization
of AT&T employees and retirees who are dedicated to volunteering their time to various community causes.
