to make this class a worthwhile and productive learning

meaningful activities and lessons while oBering a strong

I strongly "elieve daily physical education for our students is
one of the most meaningful parts of their day physically!

foundation for making informed decisions that will ena"le
them to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle for years to

No cell phones or electronics are allowed in class! and such
"ehaviors will result in the studentEs "eing asked to leave
the class. ,tudents should also refrain from unaccepta"le
"ehavior such as sleeping! using their cell phones! or talking
with classmates at inappropriate times. If cell phones
"ecome an issue! I will take the cell phone away from the
student! and they will not "e a"le to have it "ack until the
end of the day.

@ach student will "e issued a lock at the "eginning of
the semester. It is K%@IM responsi"ility to keep their

Nalua"les may "e given to your teacher and locked in
the 0@ #$ces. +onEt leave valua"les or money
unlocked. If theft occurs! let your teacher know
immediately. 1ount Nernon is not responsi"le.
,tudents have ./ minutes to report to the activity
space after the "ell ringing.
Cse the e)uipment properly and as instructed. ,tudents
damaging school e)uipment or property will "e lia"le to
repair or replacement.
If a student is inOured during class! the teacher must "e
notiDed immediately.
Jollow all class safety procedures and rules.
Pood Oudgment! reason and common sense are to "e
used at all times.

must come "ack for second role and wait for the
dismissal "ell in assigned area in the gym. ,econd role
will count for attendance.

physical education to earn the necessary credits for
graduation.
A 0hysicianEs statementA note is re)uired when a student
needs to modify their participation due to medical reasons
4"ut this does not necessarily mean you can sit out and do
nothing. +epending on the circumstances! I may have you
walk laps or do another modiDed activity9.
Short (erm Medical I If the student is inOured for a short
period of time! the student and teacher will arrange a course
of action to make up the days missed due to the medical
restrictions.
E9tended Medical I may OeopardiRe credits needed for
graduation and need to "e handled through the studentEs
counselor and 0hysical @ducation Keacher. The quarter or
semester may need to be rescheduled
at a later date to earn the necessary credits for graduation.
Accommodations 1 Any students needing special
