Introducing the NEW generation B-RAX
TM
Vacuum Gauge Controller

The B-RAX 3200 is capable of operating one InstruTech Ionization gauge (either hot filament or cold
cathode), two Convection gauges, and an option for an input from an alternate gauge such as a
capacitance diaphragm gauge (CDG). This provides a measurement range from 1 x 10
-9
Torr to
atmosphere.

The B-RAX 3200 Vacuum Gauge Controller uses a different approach to traditional full range vacuum
measurement practices resulting in significant cost savings for the user. The electrometer for the
ionization gauge is built into InstruTechs IGM400 hot cathode or CCM500 cold cathode ionization gauge
module instead of the controller itself providing a space saving, compact half rack design with low heat
generation.

The B-RAX 3200 is offered with three independent front panel pressure measurement LED displays as
well as a setup and programming OLED display. The new B-RAX 3200 also provides 3 analog outputs, 6
setpoint relays, remote input/output (Digital I/O) and RS232/RS485 serial communications as standard
features.

IG on/off, degas functions and emission current selection can be easily controlled via front panel soft-
keys, remote input signals (Digital I/O), or serial communications. The IG sensor can also be set up to
turn on automatically using one of the convection (or alternate) gauges.
