Name of Artifact: Unit Two Test (Problem #3 parts A, C and D)

Course: MTH130-003

Rationale: I have included this artifact on performing operations in any base and converting
between bases under Standard 6C4. I feel the assignment belongs under this standard because I
was able to successfully perform addition, subtraction and multiplication in a different base. For
this assignment, I added in base six, subtracted in base twelve and multiplied in base eight. I came
to understand that, although the numbers are in a different base, the idea of trading is the same. In
my future teaching, I will strive to enrich the lives of all my students and enhance the classroom
climate through having my students learn about trading in a different base and then have daily
problems that dealt with a different operations as they advanced in their understanding.
