Easy Kippah Pattern

Step 1: Using the pattern, cut two pieces from your desired fabric and two pieces for the lining.
Transfer markings for darts onto all pieces. For a slightly firmer kippah, iron fusible interfacing to the
back of the finish fabric.
Step 2: Stitch the dart on all four pieces. This will create a slightly "domed" effect and round out the section. Press
dart to one side or slit and press open.
Step 3: Stitch the two halves together with a 3/8 - 1/2 seam.
Step 4: Optional - At this point you can add decorative stitching or trim across the top of the kippah to cover or
disguise the center seams.
Finishing
You can choose one of two way to finish the kippah:
1. With right sides together, stitch 3/8 - 1/2 seam around the outer edge leaving an opening to turn. Turn the
kippah right-side out through the opening and slip stitch closed.
OR
2. Pin wrong sides together and sew a bias binding completely around the outer edge.
