Design of conformal end-fire antenna

Abstract:
Conformal antenna is a flat radio antenna designed to follow some shape. They
will mount on any surface. Conformal antennas are a form of phased array antenna composed of
array of many identical small flat antenna elements like dipole, covering the surface. It will
generate any desired direction radiation patterns. By using a larger height, shorter distance away
from the edge of a hollow conducting surface, the bigger slant angle of antenna element leads to
better end-fire radiation performances. By using HFSS, we will design the conformal end-fire
antenna. From this design, we will design the gain, reflection co-efficient, bandwidth, Beam
pointing angle.
