How To Introduce Yourself in an Interview

1. Dress appropriately. Since first impression count, introduce yourself with style before
you even open your mouth.
2. Walk into an interview confidently. Avoid slouching, slumping or cross your body
with your arm.
3. Greet your interviewers immediately. Offer your hand for handshake, make eye
contact and smile. Ask them how they are doing and make a polite response for their
reply.
4. Start with a smile on your face and give detail about yourself after greeting.
5. If necessary only add your family details.
6. Tell about your educational details.
7. Tell about the person who inspired you a lot.
8. Share about why you want to get the job.
9. Tell about your interest/hobbies.
10. Tell about your skills.
11. Then conclude by saying thanks to the person who is listening to you.

Hi. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Siti Umirah Binti
Razali. I'm 23 years old. I just finished my certificate in fashion design at College
Community Selayang. Currently I'm staying at Selayang with my family. Before this I have
background in retail industry, in 2 years working experience as beauty consultant at Elianto
Selayang. The concept is the same as for a sales job. It's all about to handle client with the
