POSTERS DESCRIPTION

In my poster, it clearly shows the 3Rs in minimizing the carbon footprint,
which are Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The 3Rs of reduce, reuse and recycle
have been considered to be a base of environmental awareness and a way
of promoting ecological balance through conscious behavior and choices.
The aim of the waste hierarchy is to extract the maximum practical benefits
from products and to generate the minimum amount of waste. I know that
everyone is aware with this 3Rs but there are only few who are practicing it
thats why I come up to this simple concept that will remind us to make our
move in protecting our mother Earth.

I also put a childs face, which looks like petitioning to the viewer. With
it, we can see that the face is overlapped with the earth. It symbolizes the
future of the next generations. They will inherit everything in this planet so we
must act and let the future generations experience a clean and conducive
place to live with. We need to start our actions that may serve as remedy to
the current environmental issues that we are dealing with.

In connection with my chosen program, Mechanical Engineering, I put
some images that a Mechanical engineer can support the programs in
lessening the carbon footprints. These are the constructions of renewable
source of energy which is symbolized by the windmills, promoting eco-friendly
products and designs and promoting advocacy through inventions and
proper waste disposals of waste from the factories, vehicles and other human
acts that may cause damage in our environment.

Lastly, I utilized colorful background on the upper top part of the poster
because it will help in receiving attentions from the possible viewers of this
poster and also, it symbolized the brighter future in this advocacy.
