What is
Recycling?
Recycling is the process of turning used waste and materials
into new products. This prevents potentially useful materials
from being wasted as well as reducing energy use and pollution.

Recycling is part of the waste disposal hierarchy - Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle.

It conserves raw materials
It saves energy
It helps protect the environment
It reduces landfill
It saves you money
Why its important to recycle?

There are many reasons why
its important to recycle:
Some of the recyclable materials
Big plastic bottle
Sackcloth
Pistachio husks
Two pieces of white cork (60cm
30cm 3cm)
2 Wire hangers
Glue gun + Wax
Plastic lawn
Plastic palm fronds
Plastic bowls
Toothpicks
Cutter
Used ribbons or plastic flowers
Dates



Make a circular hole in the middle
of one piece of cork (diameter of 10
cm).
Stick the two pieces of cork together
using glue.
Wrap the bottle with the sack.
Stick the pistachio husks on the
wrapped bottle.
Shape the wire hangers in a circle
shape.

Wrap the wire hanger with ribbons.
Stick the wrapped bottle in the hole.
Stick the plastic lawn on the surface of
the cork.
Hang the wrapped wire hangers on top of
the bottle and put the bowls.
Insert the plastic palm fronds in the
bottle.
Fill the bowls with dates.

Use toothpicks to stick in
the dates .
Enjoy eating yummy
dates.
