HEAT TRANSFER

The spontaneous transfer of heat is always from warmer to cooler objects.

The equalization of temperature is brought in three ways:
By conduction, convection and by radiation.


CONDUCTION it is the conveying of heat or electricity through material.
Conduction of heat can take place within materials that are indirect
contact. It is explained by a collisions between atoms or molecules
and the actions of loosely bound electrons.

CONVECTION a means of heat transfer by movement of the heated
substance itself, such as by currents in a fluid. (Circulation of current
in a fluid.)


RADIATION it is the transfer of heat as waves. It travels through a matter or
empty space.
