August/September Edition
Welcome Families:

We are happy to welcome you to the 2013-2014
school year! We are looking forward to a productive
partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve
their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be
successful in school, our children need support from both
the home and school. We know a strong partnership with
you will make a great difference in your childs education.
As partners, we share the responsibility for our childrens
success and want you to know that we will do our very best
to carry out our responsibilities.
Our classroom is a structured classroom setting
which support students academic and behavior needs. We
utilized a daily point and level system to help promote
positive behavior and academic growth for all students at
all times. We differentiate instruction to meet the needs of
each student. Social skills are reinforced and taught on a
daily basis, thorough reading, storytelling, and role play.
Students who demonstrated appropriate behavior have the
opportunity to participate in the regular classroom setting
to receive instruction. It is an expectation to have daily
point sheets signed daily to promote communication
between home and school, as we work together to support
our children.
