Students can participate in online discussions. Teachers can expand their PLN (Personal Learning Network) Friendly to the environment..saves paper! Students have a real audience for their work. The calendar keeps all homework organized for teachers and students. Teachers can differentiate instruction by creating subgroups of students. After posting their work, students can receive feedback and suggestions by their teacher and others. There are text alerts to remind students of big assignments. Teachers can give students positive reinforcement privately. Parents can stay connected by viewing their child's work and grades. Parents and teachers can message one another.
Implementing digital LMS in the classroom Why do we need Technology integration? Providing professional development training for teachers. Incorporating various digital tools into the curriculum. Distribution of 1:1 iPads to all students and teachers. Creating professional learning networks. Utilizing social networks for teacher support. School wide initiative planned for August 2014-2015 school year.
