Job Description:
This position will be assisting the CMTS FIG Team Markets Team in two key areas:
1. Capital Markets Origination
- Focus will be on liabilities solutions for French, Belgian and Luxembourg banks, insurance, SSA
and real estate companies
- You will be in charge of drafting market updates, pitch presentations, carrying out analysis of
funding needs for issuers and investor demand in constant interaction with the other members of
the team
- Our mandate encompasses the full spectrum of capital markets instruments: covered bonds,
senior bonds, hybrid capital (e.g. Tier 1 capital), equity or rights issue and other
2. Derivatives and Structured Products
- You will help us market derivatives linked funding (Interest Rate, Credit, Inflation etc)
- And structured transactions with a macro hedging angle (product modeling, accounting approvals,
interaction with legal and tax advisors in order to structure credit, equity, FX, longevity, mortality
hedges)

Profile:
- You must be eligible to work in France with a valid convention de stage
- You are currently in a gap year (anne de csure) in a top tier engineering or business school
- Strong commitment and resilience
- You are fluent in French and English
- Strong writing, computing and editorial skills are necessary. An experience in the finance industry is
a plus
- You have a perfect knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Word. Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus
- Strong interest in finance and understanding of the funding needs of financial institutions
- This position requires a team player with a proven track record of initiative, attention to details and
efficient time management. Strong interpersonal, organizational and presentational skills are a definite
benefit
