Steering wheel
5 Envelopes (containing set of questions)
5 sets of drawing blocks
5 mah-jong papers
Sound of a ticking clock
Speaker

Rule and regulations
1. All group members need to be in their respective BOAT.
2. If any group members fall or step out from the BOAT the group will be
disqualified immediately from the game.
3. The steering wheel will be turned and when the wheel stopped, the teacher
will pick a question from an envelope based on the selected category.
4. The selected questions will only be read TWICE.
5. 1 minute is the given time to answer each question.
6. Participants can only start writing the answer when the sound of ticking clock
has started.
7. 1 mark will be awarded to the group or groups that manage to answer the
question correctly and group that failed to answer the question will have to
fold their mah-jong paper as instructed.
8. The smaller the folded mah-jong paper, the more challenging it will be for
every group member to stay safe in the boat.


Procedures
1. The teacher will give short briefing before starting the activity.

2. Teacher will conduct a free trial, to demonstrate how to play the game.
3. Teacher starts the game.
4. First, the teacher turns the steering wheel.
5. When the steering wheel stopped, teacher will read aloud the category and
take the selected envelope.
6. Teacher will take out 1 question from the envelope.
7. Teacher reads the question.
8. Teacher reads the question for a second time.
9. Teacher starts the ticking time bomb to start the answering time for all groups.
10. When the time bomb has exploded, each group has to show their written
answer.
11. Teacher will check each groups answer.
12. The group that manage to answer correctly will be awarded with 1 mark.
13. Group/groups that got the wrong answer will be penalised. They have to fold
the mah-jong paper.
