The informing framework that is used in this unit plan is the four resources framework.

Since this
unit is history, students will be required to use the meaning part of the framework and they will then
be able to decode the questions that they want to know. Also, using this framework, students will
be able to realise how significant Ancient Greece was and how it impacted on our times when it
comes to using democracy in this age and how it was created in Athens during this time. The
students also will be able to realise that the Olympic Games has been a part of the world for a long
time and will continue to be thanks to what happened in Ancient Greece which led up to the
creation.
