Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants and some other
organisms use sunlight to synthesize nutrients from carbon dioxide and
water. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a by-product The water comes from the soil which is sucked up by the rots and up the stem into the leaf. The carbon dioxide enters the leaf form little holes under the leaf. And the light comes from the sun usually.
The oxygen and water leaves the plant through the stoma n the leaf.
