Reflection
This project defnitely made me more conscious of the things I am putting
into my body and the amount of calories I am consuming. I wasnt able to put every
single food or drink I ate in the past week into this project because I simply have a
very bad memory. Though, I defnitely tried putting a lot of effort into doing my best.
I mainly noticed that I tend to eat a lot of sugary foods. Amazingly, I cut out soda for
this week! That was a very big accomplishment. Now I have been drinking either
plain water or lemon water. I think that the only reason why I was able to do this so
easily is because I caught the flu from so many ill people at school. I havent been
able to crave soda with a sore throat. I hope that I can continue this healthier habit.
A healthy menu for a day would be difficult for me to follow through, but I am
still willing to try. My menu would follow as so: For breakfast I think a simple bagel
with cream cheese is good and also, including a fruit and some orange juice or
water. For lunch, a tasty chicken Caesar salad with a cup of water. Last, for dinner, I
would have possibly some salmon or tilapia, with a little side of rice and steamed
vegetables. Other than that, I would defnitely need some snacks in between meals.
For that, I believe some fruit would hit the spot.
Three nutritional goals I would like to set for myself are eat more vegetables,
drink a lot more water, and eat fast food much less. Eating more vegetables is tricky
because I can never agree with the taste of some of them. I hope to soon be able to
enjoy vegetables, maybe with some seasoning or paired with other foods. Im more
determined to drink a lot more water because studies say that it is very benefcial

for the skin, and my skin needs help. I learned that fast food calories add up very
quickly! I cant believe how much of it that I have been consuming. Im excited to
continue this journey towards a healthier lifestyle!
