Competency 1: The principal knows how to shape campus culture by facilitating the development,
articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by the
school community.
I feel particularly confident aout my e!perience "it# Competency 1$ I #a%e een e!po&ed to many

Competency 2: The principal knows how to communicate and collaborate with all members of the
school community, respond to diverse interests and needs, and mobilize resources to promote student

and y t#e end of t#e follo"ing "ee. "e #ad a total of 50 parent& on our %olunteer& li&t$ In order to
pro%ide %aried and meaningful opportunitie& for parent& and caregi%er& to e engaged in t#e education of
t#eir c#ildren( I t#oug#t it "ould e a good idea to #a%e 2Room )om&3 and 2Room +ad&3 at our
campu&$ I a&.ed eac# teac#er to find a Room )om or +ad for t#eir cla&&room&$ I e!plained to t#em "#at

Competency 8: The principal knows how to act with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical and legal
manner.
