FACTS:
Syed Abbas and Glora Abbas were married in Taiwan. When Syed went to the
Philippines, he was persuaded by his mother-in-law to undergo a ceremony and
sign a contract to stay in the country. He didnt now it was !or marriage.
Syed later produced a certi"cation showing that the license used in his and
Glorias marriage was registered to another couple. #o marriage license was
actually issued to Syed and Gloria.
