Low Carbon school, “wat Jaeng” school opens


The ? school has just became Green
and , under the banner of the low car-
bon school project. Wat Jaeng school
at ————,
The school has been adopted by
Paradise beach resort, Khun Urs and
khun Boll the chief gardener and their
team have been working very hard to
establish a separation section, garden
areas for the children to grow their
own herbs and spices, EM production.
On the day of the opening Paraidse
and the school had great green games
set up to bring out the best in the chil-
dren, a wonderful presentation and
speech from the local Government.
Khun Suraphong “the Tanrong” or as-
sistant to the mayor of koh samui,
gave his speech and recognition of the
project. A man for koh Samui! Thank
you

The children form the school were over
the moon when they were given games
to play, along with books and pencils.
You could see in their eyes they were
happy, lets be more pro active and do
a little bit more!

Imagination is the greatest
thing children have, fine

models made form old ice
cream sticks, picture frames
from compounded paper,
basket made from woven
plastic wraps, coffee cups
from the shops turned into
decorative flower vases.

children did and are do-

There is not need to write
about these things a pic-

words they say, well its

can do with a1,000 kids

The cages that were given by the Tessban, come to life


They were given a few years
back and now the school has THE BIG GUY
recycled and re used the
cages to their former glory as PLAYING THE
waste separation cages, the RECULING GAME,
two in “wat Jaeng” have been
set up plastic in one and card- ITS SO SIMPLE TO
board in the other. FOLLOW A FEW
Every bottle counts and every RULES, BUT WE
toilets eat counts by the look
of this picture. DON'T! ITS TIME

Who knows what the next
generations will produce here
in Thailand, what we have
seen is talent well above what
we can do.
They loved to draw their pic-
tures the end results were
fabulous.

Paradise was there in full force to
support the low carbon school
project.

The time and effort taken to make the hats and paper bowls shows the interest and time
taken to produce top quality recyclable items

Its been a great result from all the schools.
We just need to focus on the right people and
from there we can achieve great things in elss
than 20 years, they are the future for us.
