Editing Checklist

Read over your writing.

Every sentence begins with a capital letter. The I is capitalized when alone.

Every sentence ends with punctuation.

Check your spelling.

Revising Checklist

Read over your plan.

I changed words in my writing to make them more interesting. (good vs. ____)

I changed the order of sentences or paragraphs. (cut and paste)

I deleted words or sentences that arent needed.

I added words or sentences where they were needed.

I added details: verbs adjectives, sounds, colors, pictures, feelings, similes or metaphors
