Introduction
9ear Sta' o( Los Alisos Middle School2
#he (ollo+ing handoo> is a su$$ar1 o( the +or> started in
201? and a pre4ie+ o( 4arious acti4ities +e plan during the
2014&2015 school 1ear. #he plan is a +or> in progress and +ill
e updated throughout the 1ear and placed on Schoolog1. It
includes so$e arti(acts regarding achie4e$ents +e
acco$plished last 1ear and +ant to continue along +ith other
+e +ould li>e to tr1.
9uring the 2014&2015 school 1ear2 the !"IS #ea$ +ants to
+or> hand in hand +ith sta' at Los Alisos and our (ello+
@or+al>&La Mirada !"IS tea$ to create a . !/s school
en4iron$ent. Ae reBuest that all teachers re4ie+ the $atri-
and hold students accountale to the e-pectations +e
de4eloped as a group during last 1ears sta' $eetings. Along
+ith our current plan o( re+arding students +ho are (ollo+ing
the . !/s2 +e plan to i$ple$ent a 9ata Action !lan to (ollo+
certain students +ho ha4e not $et either eha4ior or
acade$ic success in the past. Ae +ill start this 1ear +ith
current Cth graders ased on re(erral 1 .th grade teachers.
5ope(ull1 the collection o( in(or$ation )data*2 counseling
ser4ices2 1=1 con(erences2 and parental support +ill guide
these students to higher achie4e$ent in the classroo$s.
