The revision programs will be prepared for all classes, all subjects from Year 7 to Year 11 along the lines
of the schedule above.
They have to be prepared in preferably Microsoft Publisher as the program makes easy editing and is
user friendly as far as printing is concerned.
The revision program will cover adequate work; covering each and every unit within each subject
The level of work will rise with each class and we are keeping our targets at A* to B
There will be no repeating of work from one class Year to the next - as our children are sharp and will
co-ordinate and will do a lot of free loafing.
For Year 7 to Year 9 the work should be so that it takes a child up to half an hour to revise a particular
unit and then attempt the application questions given in the revision program. (They should be revising
a subject per day, with two per day for the weekends)
As far as possible make the revision program in a workbook format so that the students answer within
the workbook as they will be required to purchase all of them. For the ones where working space is
not provided an exercise book will be required for doing the work. No pieces of paper will be
acceptable. Where working is required eg. Math only answers will not be acceptable.
Each workbook as is gets prepared should be sent to the HOD then to the HOS for approval before it
comes to Mrs Sherebanu Jamaly on whose approval the printing go ahead will be given.
PS: for AS and A2
As a unit is completed and the next unit started we will be working on past papers from not only Edexcel but
also Cambridge. The concerned teachers will choose the papers and give the downloaded soft copies to Mrs
Sherebanu Jamaly for printing.
